You have a set goal — to eat all the dots — and you have something impeding that goal — the ghosts. Finding out the best path to take to not corner yourself between two ghosts, figuring out when the best time to eat the Big Dots to be able to eat the ghosts for a couple of seconds, tricking the ghosts into thinking you're going one way and turning around to go the other… It's a strategy game.
