Oh... That is unfortunate... I would have loved to teach you some druidcraft. I was... A druid before I began traveling with my companions. [ Meaning, she actually knows the drudic language but that she knows some spells. Except by DND rules when u retrain your level you magically lose your ability to cast those spells - but she still knows their rituals! ] As time went on... Are you serious? If you're so reliant on your magic that you don't even know the definition of science... [SIGHS he's not mad... calm down, don't lose ur cool here...] Never mind. The lack of proper education in your world is a tragedy, but it's nothing that can't be fixed.
To put it simply, science is the study and observation of all things in the natural world. Anything that can be explained in a quantifiable way, for example, gravity is the force that mutually draws objects together based on their mass. Speed and velocity, density, weight, finer details such as interactions between subatomic particles, biological functions of living creatures, medicine, technology, chemical reactions...
Honestly, anything and everything can be defined with scientific understanding. There are rules to how the world functions, and science is about identifying those rules and their functions rather than explaining everything away with magic and so-called gods. Kuku, even something like the Illuminous Phenomenon, call it an act of the gods if you want but to me it's nothing more than mental degradation caused by overexposure to pure El energies...
